Make room, superstar coming through!
Sorry for my loooooong absence, faithful readers. The people have been at their computers so much recently that it's been difficult for this sucker to get an even break. Anyways, while they're snoozing their lives away, I'm up and at the new day. Well, after all, it's so bloody foggy outside right now, that I can barely see a mouse just a few metres in front of me. It's just not worth hunting when I can come and write a blog post.
And I haven't been sitting on my laurels, either. Indeed, I have some interesting news to impart, but you have to keep it hush-hush, on the down-low, the QT, ya dig, my brothers?
I can't say too much right now, but yours truly may soon be a superstar of stage and screen. Well, that's perhaps overegging it a bit, but I may soon have my picture in a book. There's this bloke who's writing a book, and he wanted a picture of a cat doing something specific. I won't say what, BUT IT'S NOT RUDE. (Get your damn minds out of the gutter, you dirty Homo sapiens!) And it just so happens that the people here had a picture of me doing that certain something, so they sent it to the man, and it's now under consideration.
Now, I'm not really one for photo ops. Point a camera in my direction and I'm likely to give a dirty look and show you my arse, but even I am quite flattered by this possibility. So I'll be sure to keep you all informed as things progress. Keep all your paws and claws crossed for me, dear friends.
I have another little post in me, too, but I'll save that for a few days' time. I will be back soon, I promise!

Welcome back, Cat. One of my little dears managed to snag a mouse yesterday. I was notified of its presence when Tinkie scurried off into the kitchen with something that didn't look like a cat toy. The mouse was undamaged, just a little frightened and I released it into the wild. Poor Tinkie. In fact all the others were upset too. How do YOU feel about having your mice and birds taken from you?
Now, will you be lying in bed like Proust? Or more like Brian Wilson, cat?
Congratualtions on your possible "book deal" isn't that what all of us bloggers dream of? Being discovered?
You deserve it you hard working kitty cat you...and have a lovely holiday while you're at it with lots of catnip and toys,
Candy

wow... congratulations, cat.
my arwen almost made it on the cover of a pet magazine, but that fell through. i'm crossing my fingers and arwen & chandler are crossing their paws for you, my feline friend.
let us know what happens!
nice picture! Go see my friend Jerry posing on mister anchovy. cheers.
Tanya: Congrats to Tinkie! I feel their pain in losing their friend/snack. I hate when that happens. One time when they released a bird through the window, I almost caught it again as it flew past the cat-flap. Now that would've been funny!
Candy: It's not so much a book deal and more a picture or two of yours truly. But from small acorns, you know...
DP: You, too, Pup. Thanks.
Martha: Shame Arwen's deal fell through. I hope mine doesn't. Happy Christmas to you and the kitties.
Mr Anchovy: Mmmm, anchovies... I visited Jerry, and he looks cool.
